"I had ocasionally used a company-owned Ziplevel over the last 2 years for determining slab elevations and foundation/slab settlement. I recently started my own company and this was the first tool I bought. Very easy to set-up and use. One man operation and you don't need line of sight so the base unit can be placed in one room and the elevations taken throughout the house. The Ziplevel does seem expensive, but it is not a toy and in some cases is an invaluable tool."
