"This is a great heater easy to install,,mine is propane
I have a 24 x 30 x10' foot wall garage that is insulated
and dry walled and live in michigan.
on a 10' deg.day it is about 35 deg in the garage and i can have the temp up to 70' deg within 1 hour Ive had this heater for about 2 years
and work in my shop 2 to 3 days a week
the self ingnighting is great (no pilot lite)
it runs very quite
and you can vent it through the wall or roof
i have a 100 gal. propane tank and it last most of the winter
around 1 1/2 tanks per winter"

Great Product, but Poor Shipping,

"I ordered one of these units last year along with the stove pipe kit and It arrived with a large dent from shipping. The unit still worked and I hung it in my 26ft by 28ft garage.

The unit works wonderful and has not failed yet. Outside temperatures dip to -20f and it keeps on working. I keep working temperatures at 70f.

It was not double boxed and that is probably the reason it was dented.

Overall satisfaction is a four star."

"I purchased this Heater for what was my recently finished and insulated garage 2 years ago and can say from experience that this heater does everything it is advertised to do and more. I am extremely happy with it. I went from an unusable garage in the winter time to a completely functioning shop year round now, thanks to this heater.
Installation was straight forward per the included instructions. The instructions contained all info regarding the codes necessary for proper flue and propane plumbing installation. Along with the Heater, I ordered the Propane gas line installation kit. I did my homework and found that kit to save money and time. I did buy the flue and all necessary pipes locally and saved some money doing it that way. For safety I installed a double wall flue pipe, even though code only calls for single wall in a residential installation, but it wasn't very expensive to do it correctly. I also bought all the black iron pipe from the local Home Center and was able to run the LP piping professionally and again to code.
The Heater handles my 2 car workspace with ease and will bring the temperature up to 68* from dead cold in the morning in only 10 minutes or so. I also find that if I heat the Garage up to 68* at night, then shut it off before bedtime, I can wake up to a garage that is still at 45*. Which is very nice because now I can leave certain chemicals and paints in the garage year round without worrying about them freezing and becoming unusable. With the Heater running every day and into the early evening hours I have been spending $30.00 per month to keep my garage / workshop nice and warm.
Upon receiving the unit and installing it and starting it up for the first it has been running perfectly from the first start 2 years ago until present.
I have not had any issues with it at all. Just wire it, ventilate and plumb to the instructions provided. I have recommended it 2 other people I know and they both have had the same experience with Heater and are happy customers as well."

"Excellent product. I have a 940 square foot garage with 10 foot ceiling and it will warm and stay constant temperature within 20 minutes from virtually any starting temperature. I have the 75000 btu model but believe this one would have done as well. A friend bought this model after seeing mine and is just as happy with purchase as I am. Both of us bought from Northern Tool and this is without question the number one company to purchase these types of products from. Could not be happier. Only problem was packaging allowed both heaters to be dented. One call to Mr. Heater and replacement panels were on the way. Buy buy buy"

"I bought the Mr. Heater for my 3 car garage. It works like a champ. The installation and user manuals were all excellent, and installation was a breeze. My garage is a 28x40 3 car garage and while it is a fairly large garage the Mr. Heater does a fine job keeping the garage warm and comfortable. Highly recomended. I have ordered multiple items from Northern Tool, and everytime I have received the items quickly and undamaged. Great customer service."

"I bought this heater to heat my shop (appox. 800 s.f.) I didn't expect it to do a good job,but to my surprise it brought the temperature from about 35f to almost 70 in appox. 25 min. I was amazed at how quick it heated the shop.I had purchased 2 small back-up heaters(which I never use).Iwhole-heartly reccommend this heater-it's the best I have seen!"

keeps fumes out of garage,

"I used a space heater in my insulated garage before and had to breath the fumes. This unit is the same size as the space heater but works so much better at heating and the fumes are forced out side. My garage is 24 x 30 and this heater will keep it 50degrees above on a -25 degree day. If it is zero outside it will shut off some of the time if the thermostate is set at 68. It helps that I have installed some really cheap ceiling fans with lights. This unit will thaw out a car overnight."

"Easy installation. Excellent heater for my garage shop (1 car ). Uses very little fuel to heat my well insulated space. Installed a Honeywell thermostat and tempertature control is perfect. It's operation is a little noisy but tolerable. Highly satisfied, great purchase."
