"I purchased Mr. Heater model MHU45NG 45,000 BTU unit for my 26x28 2-car garage with 10 ft. ceilings. This heater is awesome, the blower distributes a mega heat source. I am able to heat my garage on sub-zero days from 20F inside to 68F within 20 minutes. I wired in a Honeywell digital thermostat and control the garage temperature to 40F all winter. It has been a very cold winter here in Minnesota this year, and my Mr. Heater allows me to do many winter projects, I would otherwise have to wait till Spring to do in my garage.
I would recommend Mr Heater to any homeowner that loves a warm garage."

"Purchased the Mr. Heater Natural Gas Garage Heater to install in a 30'x28' garage. This heater is awesome, it heats my garage up to a comfortable 65 degrees in minutes, even though it may be 15 degrees outside. It's quiet, efficient, and spreads the heat throughout the garage. I chose it as it is compact and space saving with it's only 1" clearance to the ceiling.
Installation was simple, and after adjusting for an altitude of 7000', it fired right up and has not missed a beat since. I would highly recommend this heater to anyone. It is and A1 unit."

"Heater arrived in good condition, one bent louver and one dented corner in lower front, almost big enough to send back but wasn't worth it. All parts arrived with heater as indicated. I was replacing an older heater so the duct work was already in place. I had to change the ceiling mount in order for the exhaust to line up. The whole installation took about 3.5 hours, the hardest part was getting it up to the ceiling. The unit has been installed now for 9 months and runs quiet and flawless, so much quieter than the 18 year old unit I replaced that there is no comparison. The only negative I need to comment on was the exhaust part didn't line up with the outer sheet metal opening, I had to remove about 3/4" on the inside edge for proper clearance."

"I have both the 45,000 and 75,000 BTU versions of this heater, and am pleased with both. They have run several years with no problems, were easy to install and start up. They replaced a single large furnace in my shop, and allowed me to set the temperature separately in the shop and storage area."

"Finally got this completely installed in my 2 car garage. This heater is AWESOME!! I could not be happier. Wish I would have bought this years ago. Massive heat output, Sound is very tollerable for forced air. Installation was not bad for experienced handyman but, I would recommend professional installation or at least some professional help. I had an HVAC guy install my natural gas line. Only complaint I have is with the knockouts for the electrical connections. I don't think the machine was setup correctly. They were a giant pain. Had to drill a hole in the center an peel them out with pliers. I still give this heater 5 stars. If I move or build a shop you can bet I'll buy another one."

"Purchased the 45000 BTU NG Mr Heater for my 30' x 26' / 780 SF detatched garage. It heats the space with ease, I have R13 in the ceiling and walls( wall insulation installed after photos were taken). Instructions and installation were straight forward and the unit fired up on the first try. I keep the garage at 40 degrees during the night, This heater will warm the garage to 65 degrees within 20 minutes when I go in to work. The fan moves the air very nicely. The second day I noticed a delay in the burner lighting so I called the 800 number and the technician sent out a new circuit board the next day and it has worked perfectly since. After installing the heater my garage has become much more useful, I'm now in the process of finishing the interior. (in comfort during the winter). For the price and performance and good customer service, I'd say it is a good buy."
