Winch adaptor
Worked perfectly on my 9000 lb. Northern Equiptment winch. Heavy built and easy to set up.

Heavy Duty
Nice chunk of heavy steel with a good finish.
Holes are in the right place for my Warn 8000, unlike the winch mount I sent back to Warn.
Made in the USA, another plus.

nice mount
I paired this with the 9000 pound winch from Northern to make it easy to mount and remove from my truck. THis is a very heavy duty platform for this heavy winch. I am pleased with the fit and finish of this big chunk of steel to mount my winch on.

Exactly what i needed
This is the right size, weight, and price for what I need. I bought another type locally (Colorado) but the mount deck was too small for my winch. Since this has an open backside the deck floor is not an issue.
I have pulled large trees up a hill without issue. I have it mounted to my hitch on the back of an F150 for part time use. It is low enough that I can work with the tailgate open.

Winch Mount
Overall it is a very well built. Good quality welds, heavy duty, lots of support and a good powder coat finish. Its on par with the warn version but alot cheaper. My M8000 warn and our XD9000I both mounted up with no issues since it used the 10x4.5 configuration. If we hadnt had the fairlead issue we would have given it a 5 stars. The only issue we didnt like was we cant figure out what type of fairlead it was designed to be used with. I can tell you from the bolt spacing and postion that a regular warn winch fairlead will not work with this without a good bit of modifying the fairlead AND the winch mount. A call to Curt Mfg and they couldnt even tell us what it was designed to fit. That was kinda shoddy considering they were the manufacture. But a little time with a grinder, drill, and patience, and we got it where it should be ok and have the rollers work like they are supposed to and not mess up the cable.

Curt Mfg Winch Mount
I recently ordered the Curt winch mount for my Ramsey 9000 electric winch.
I wanted to mount the winch on the front winch reciever hitch that is on my 2000 Dodge pickup. This way I can move the winch from the front of the truck to the back when needed. The Curt winch mount is a fine piece of equipment. It seems to be built well and i think it will give me years of service. the Ramsey winch bolted right on with no modifications needed.

Winch Mount
I purchased the Curtis Winch Mount for a special project. This was the only one I could locate that would meet my needs to complete my project. I used the winch mount to mount a 3000 lb pull winch on a 6 X 4 John Deere Gator for which I am making a quick conversion medical transport vehicle to get to a patient in very ruff terrain who is injured and needs medical care and transport. This unit of course has all other bells and whistles to include a MedBed. The winch mount plate is a 2 inch receiver and can be used on the front or rear for pulling in either direction,or can be used on a totally different vehicle. The Curtis winch mount plate was very easy to work with to get everything to fit just right. When I found the winch mount on Northern Tool web site it was very easy and quick to complete the order. Once I purchased the Curtis winch mount, Northern Tools were very fast in getting it shipped to me. Thanks again for providing me with the product I needed to help me continue to complete my project.
