Overview

Heavy-duty electric hoist has 750-lb. capacity with single line, 1500-lb. capacity with double line. 16-gauge antitwist wire, spring-loaded remote buttons and emergency stop button. Great for lifting engines, tables, lumber, shop equipment and a whole range of other products. The biggest advantage to this hoist is that you do not need to climb a ladder and crank a lever; you can remain on the ground to control operations.

"I purchased this item for a boat lift. It does the job with ease. It was easy to install You have a choice to either use a single hook or double it to get the full rating. The speed is fast but you can slow it down. It can be used for many things. You can lift small equipment. You can raise a riding lawn mower to work on blade or change oil. Just rember the capacity and use to do endless projects"

"We use this hoist to dump a 95 gallon trash can filled wth heavy grit into our dunpster. We were able to mount the hoist on to a trolley to allow the hoist to be moved into the correct postion. It worked great for 4 years until the cable safety bar got damaged. We bought a new one to relace it."

"Purchased this item to hoist large steel sculpture while I'm working on them. Bought the hoist in Jan/2009 and used it on and off. Definitely not a lot of use.
I absolutely loved this thing. Could not do the job without it. Would have given it 6 stars. But last night (6/29/2010) it stopped responding to the down button on the remote. I could hear it trying to click and sometimes it moves, but something happened. I tried to find a loose wire connection but haven't found it yet. Will keep trying.
I still would recommend this product. My case is just a fluke as you can see from the reviews here. Just letting people know what happened."

"I have been using this hoist for for the past year or so to unload construction materials such as drywall, plywood, lumber and equipment. It is mounted on a small 8 ft jib crane. The hoist works very well up to capacity and has saved hours of backbreaking labor transferring materials between two construction levels. Worth every penny!"

"I use the hoist for getting stuff in and out of my basement through an access window. I haven't used the pulley for the 1500 lb. capacity; only the straight cable. The hoist was missing 2 of the mounting nuts right out of the package. Operation is pretty good, although sometimes the hoist "halts" for about a second and then resumes again. Not sure if that is the switch or the hoist, but it doesn't give me the "warm fuzzy" that it's a quality product. Still, it works as advertised."

"We use this hoist at our sail loft for hoisting large sails up to our second floor. It gets a lot of use ( almost daily ) and has worked flawlessly for going on 3 years. Also, it's reasonbly fast, which was hard to find without spending 1000 plus dollars!! It's a real timesaver AND "back" saver!! Great hoist at a really great price!!"

"I have had this hoist for 5 yaers and it works as good today as when I purchased it. The only thing I have added is a longer chord for the controls. The original one is to short to mount the hoist above 8'-0"."

"We bought this hoist for our shop to aid in lifting heavy glue laminated stair stringers. Worked great right out of the box. We use the double line to slow down the speed and it is very easy to "bump" the control to get just the right setting."
