"WIRELESS" backup sensor,
June 14, 2009
By farmermarty from Lancaster, PA
"For something wireless you have to run 4 wires totalling
about 20 feet. AND, good luck finding an easy accessory
port in your "fusebox" to hook to. Took 6 hrs to install,
not counting time to drive to autozone to get wiretaps
(not included)."

Easy install backup sensor,
August 18, 2008
By JeanP from San Juan, Puerto Rico
"If you are looking for an easy backup sensor for your car or van, this is the item!
I installed it on our extra long Ford E-250 van as easy as 1-2-3. The instructions are clear and you don't have to worry with complicated cabling . Just connect the remote sensing unit to the reverse light positive cable, connect the receiver to a switched accessory power, select a location for the display and you are done. Very useful, specially on vehicles without rear windows, like our van."

ultrasonic backup sensor,
March 9, 2007
By handymanray from Modesto, Ca
"A tremendous item. I was skeptical of how well it would work, but my wife and I love it. It works in all situations even on things like wire fences and bushes.
It is easy to set, loud enough to here, but not irritating; has easy to read numbers and simple instructions for setup."

"Easy to install. Have a full size cargo van with very few windows. I now know if something is close to the back of the vehicle. Backing up used to be great fun, had no idea where the back of the vehicle was. Sensor gives me plenty of warning and within 1 foot of an object (car, post, etc.) Even can tell me if it's on the left or right side. Saved me from rearranging somebodys front end, when backing out of a parking space, they stopped behind me Sensor went off I stopped! Another feature I discovered is that if visual sensor on dash is off, sensor inside emits a sound. Only small problem I found is when they salt the roads around Cleveland, Ohio, a film built up on the outside sensors and it was not as accurate."

Awesome product!,
January 13, 2007
"My wife drives an '05 Chevy Avalanche. This vehicle has a terrible blind spot when backing up (even I have trouble). My wife eventually got an "owie" on the rear fender due to the lack of visibility so I installed the backup system. The install was quite easy on this vehicle, especially since the system is wireless. It works great and gives BOTH audio & visual distance warning. Another plus is that it acts like a backup beeper to anyone near the outside of the truck as it approaches the "danger zone".
Do yourself (and your wife) a favor & order this today!"

Back up safely,
November 19, 2006
By Dennis from Toronto, ON
"For anyone that doesn't have a built in back up sonar on their vehicle this is just the answer. Simple, easy to install and works. Not a bad looking item either. It could take a bit of care and planning to install on some newer vans but otherwise is basic do it yourself knowledge that should only take about 30 - 40 minutes to get up and running. Distance sensed is also very accurate.
A great safety product for bigger vehicles that could be hard to see behind anyone that drives and parks where there may be children should have one."
