"As a landscape designer, I am constantly reaching for extended measurements - Over and through shrubs and other hard to reach places. This is THE BEST tape available. I do wear them out, and should do a better job at keeping them clean, but I will continue to buy the FAT MAX until something better is rolled out!"

Now this is a tape measure!,

"I have gone through SOOO many tape measures because after a short while the biggest portion of numbers and lines are worn off from the tip to the 1' mark (or in my case, the 6' mark).

However with the Blade Armor Coating this problem has been reduced significantly. With the first 6" with an extra layer of protection you get much more life out of the tape measure because you have to chuck it in the bin.

Outside and inside measurements spot on accurate. And the added rubberized grips are much easier to get ahold of with gloves.

After my poor experience with previous Stanley tools (especially their tape measures) I was a bit reluctant to get another, but it has done nothing but impress."

"It also holds it's rigidity up to at least 10' feet.It is very durable and long lasting.The numbers are easy to read.The end is coated to avoid breaking off."

"This is a GREAT Tape - I work by myself as a handy person - This tape is made of thicker metal which allows you to work vertical or horizontal before it will bend - thus allowing long measuring- great buy"

"I am a catastrophe adjuster. Having proper and dependable tools to measure things is an absolute must. When I looked at the FATMAX I was thinking about being on ground level and measuring to the top of a gable. Most tape measures will not reach that height without breaking over. I have actually used the FATMAX to measure gables on second floor walls from the ground. in my book I will suggest that everyone have a FAT MAX TAPE in their tool boxes or hanging on their tool belts. They will get the job done when all others fail."
