First air sander
I use this for wood working. I agree with all the other reviews. It seems heavy to me with the air hose and small filter attached. It puts out a lot of water and oil when it is oiled. This all goes on my hand when I sand. It works very well with a 4 hp air compressor. I do advise to still use ear protectors, it isn't much quieter than the electric sanders, but the air exhaust blows away the sawdust. The exhaust port can be pointed in any direction. I use an air scoop with my dust collector which is mounted on a table next to the sander and it works fine. It has a better hook-loop pad than my electric sanders and does not lug down as much. I prefer it, but as an old geezer, my hands get tired faster. I cannot let it sit and sand because it is out of balance with the air hose attached. Otherwise I prefer it to any electric models I have. I use it occasionally but probably cannot use it for a lot of small wood working because of the clumsiness of the sander compared to the electric models.

Nice sander.
This is a nice, light weight sander. The composite body keeps the sander light weight and from becoming cold from air. It's very dependable, I got a full 3 years of daily professional abuse before it quit working. I never oiled it, I droped it all the time, and even allowed it to get wet a couple of times and yet everyday it was ready to work! The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is because of the lack of repair/rebuild parts available and because it is quite loud compaired to other sanders.

Works awsome
I got this sander as a gift and have used it a ton. The fact that its air and not electric saves your eardrums some wear and tear.

Well built sander and value priced.
I bought this sander in an emergency. My normal high dollar orbital sander quit working in the middle of a job. I bought this sander just because it was the closest one I could get my hands on. Im glad I did! This sander has completly replaced my much more expensive professional sanders I had been using. It's quite, light weight, very tuff and uses little air compaired to other models. Ive used it almost daily for three years now and have had no issues.
The rubber body keeps the sander from becoming cold after long periods of use and provides a good grip. The 5" hook & loop pad is A1 quality and has never been replaced or needed repair.
This is a professional quality sander at a hobby shop price. I plan to use mine until I destory it and I will buy another!
