Torin Scissor/Stabilizer Jack - 2 Ton Capacity, 20in. Max Lift, Model# T10200
the handle assembly on this jack is poorly built and the coupler (sp) is weak-would not recommend

What Contheon said...
Pain to use because crank keeps popping out of jack. Knuckle buster for sure.

I returned mine today
I bought this jack based on the prior 5 Star reviews, and was surprised by the poor design and performance.
This jack has a square fixed collar to recieve the handle, which has a tapered square head. The only thing that keeps the handle in place is a small snap ring ... and mine did not work. Regardless of the pressure I applied, the handle continually slipped out of place.
Most scizzor jacks have a collar with holes that accept a handle designed with a hook. It's simple but effective. It also pivots so you don't have to get to ground level to use the jack. Not so with this design.
The handle is 36" long, folds, but can not be used in any length other than 36". It's also very light duty, with a poor locking mechanism.
The package from Northern tool was not damaged in any way. Yet the inside product box was completely torn appart and wrapped in shipping paper. So prehaps I got a defective jack that was returned once before. Regardless, it's a cheapy made jack and poorly engineered.
I've owned many floor, bottle, and scizzor jacks and have been working on cars, trucks, and boats for over 40 years. This is not a well made jack. Look for a better alternative.

Well built, great reach!!
I have two Ford trucks that came with not so great factory bottle style jacks, so I was in the market for something better. It was suggested that I take a look at this scissor jack on one of the truck forums I frequent.
The most important features I was looking for in a "behind the seat" jack was ruggedness and total reach, as both of my trucks are way higher off the ground than a factory jack can safely reach.
This jack fits under both front and rear axles, and can easily lift the truck without having to use boards or bricks to shim up the jack like I had to do with the factory jack. This jack is extremely well built and heavy, in a good way. It's not a floor jack, but is a great replacement of the limited factory jack for any SUV or pickup.

Not your Dad's Scissor Jack
Many years ago I stopped using scissor jacks when the one I had folded like a cheap suitcase and dropped a light truck axle. This jack, in no way, resembles that one. It is heavy and reliable. I need the broad based platform to securely jack rounded axle bottoms found on trucks...and the jack must be sturdy to support the vehicle's weight . This jack fills the bill.

Every hydralic jack I've ever bought leaked. So this was welcomed improvement. Works well, does the job, no leaks.

Heavy duty, large and robust
I bought this because I have a land rover with a GVRW of 8,000 lbs. The land rover's factory scissor jack was probably meant for a toyota, and buckled on its first use. I needed a scissor jack that can handle the weight of my vehicle and yet be able to be stored in the truck. I didn't want a bottle jack due to their nature of always leaking hydraulic fluid.
This jack is tough and does the job nicely. The only "negative" is the cranking handle isn't as heavy duty, but works fine all the same. If space is critical, make sure you match the dimensions of your storage space and the jack. The picture online is misleading, this is 30% bigger than the typical scissor jack.
