This pump screwed on in minutes with the 4 bolts to my Honda 5 hp motor. I've put about 2 hours on it so far and no problems. The only slight problem I had was the connection to the hi pressure hose was a different gender. I had to remove a fitting from my old pump and buy a short nipple to complete the connection.

Great Replacement Pump
I have a Excell EXH2425 pressure washer with a Honda 5 H.P. engine, model CX160 that had a PK-18219 Devilbiss pump that worked for over 12 years. The pump recently went out, so I researched replacements. I found this one at Northern Tool today and it was a breeze to hook up. The pump came with 4 new bolts, oil inside unit, and the male "key" slot inside the pump to slide onto the shaft with female groove from the engine. I bolted it down, started the engine, and the pump works great with plenty of pressure; feels like more than before. The outside of box tells you which Honda motors it works with, which are several, standard Honda sizes. Simply project taking less than 15 minutes to complete.

with slight modification to get the pump seated on the case it worked perfectly, started the engine and it started pumping right away. worth the money!

Instalation was very easy. 4 bolts out and 4 bolts in and I was ready to wash anything. It has great pressure to clean hard grime off.
Only problem has been getting it to suck up soap from a container. Have adjusted it but not sure how far it can go before it will come out. It did not have any directions with it to ref. the suction tube adj.

Generac Power Washer pump replacement
I have a 6.5HP Briggs Stratton Generac power washer that had a fried water pump on it. This was a perfect direct fit albeit it smaller in size from the original. To remove the original i had to take it off the washer in two pieces because the front roll bar bumper of the unit. The new one fit easily because it was smaller - they also gave me 4 new screws and washers which were slightly longer. I could only use 3 of them because one of the screws that they gave me was too long and could not flush fit. So I used one of the old ones and it was perfect.

Could have lasted longer.
This pump was oem on a 5 horse honda power washer I purchased from Northern about 5 years ago. I have used it about 50 times for various jobs around the house such as deck, cars, and siding. The last time I used it the inside of the motor fell apart. First it started leaking water and then oil. I keep it well maintained and oiled so I know that wasn't why. Maybe it was just old because it surely wasn't over used.

I purchased this pump as a replacement pump. I chose this pump mainly because of the low cost. I am very happy with it, It works great, has more pressure than the original. It is very easy to install and came with all the hardware I needed to install it. If you are looking for an inexpensive quality pump I would recommend this one.

Performs like a champ
After initial discharge pressure regulator adjustment at home, pump has performed like a champ handling well a wide range of nozzles according to the job on hand needs. 2700 PSI discharge pressure is sufficient for most homeowner tasks. Installation was piece of cake, came with the right screws, fitted like the original and i won 300 PSI, as the old pump was rated 2400 PSI. Replacement parts for the old pump would have cost me a little over two thirds of the price of this new one.
