great product, great price I am VERY satisfied with this product. The flare nut style of these wrenches really gives a much more secure hold. High quality. Nice that they come with the strip to hold all of the wrenches together; the strip keeps them organized in the tool box. Highly recommended product, especially for the price. August 30, 2010

not as represented Nothing wrong with the product itself, but these are FLARENUT Crowfoot wrenches. If you look closely at the pics, you can see that the tips close in. so you can only use them if you can fit over the top of the fitting, not if you need to slide it on. The product description needs to be fixed. October 21, 2009

Six points make a tremendous difference I got to use one of my Christmas presents much sooner than I'd expected. (I buy clothes and jewelry for her, she buys tools for me) Crows foot wrenches are just not one of my most used tools. I took this set along when a guy called me to see if I could find and fix the source of a propane gas leak in the furnace of his motor home. As soon as he said "motor home" I knew that the word "inaccessible" went along with it. Soap solution told me that the leak was at a flare fitting near the base of the furnace, mostly concealed by a floor panel, which would have required me to disassemble three different fittings in order to access the leaking one. The floor panel precluded the use of a flare wrench. I would have then had to reassemble the lines and probably have created a new leak or two in the process. With this set of 6-point crows foot wrenches and an 8" extension I was able to not only access the fitting, but apply enough torque to eliminate the leak. I would never have dared to apply that much torque with a set of standard open-end type crows foot wrenches. They are definitely the crows foot equivalent of flare wrenches. The speed with which I was able to isolate and fix the problem made one very happy motor home owner. I'll be very surprised if he doesn't call on me again the next time he has a problem. My only fear for this product turned out to be unfounded. I was afraid that the shape of the wrench and the fact that they'd have to be lifted off of a nut and not just slid off would cause the crows foot to stay with the nut while separating from the extension. I would have barely been able to retrieve the wrench if that had happened. It seems that the cantilever effect against the extension provides enough friction to keep that from happening. I think your product description should feature the fact that these wrenches are 6-point. I would never have put them on my Christmas list if I hadn't noticed their unusual shape in the catalog picture. January 24, 2009

crows feet These are a good starter set for somebody just starting out , has all the sizes that the avaerage mechanic needs . November 18, 2008

Crow foot wrenches There is very little use for these, but when you need them, nothing else will do. They seem of sufficient quality and are nicely finished. With the 3/4" wrench, I was able to apply 100 pound feet of torque to a cylinder head. To retorque, I would have to remove the rocker gear if a standard socket was all I had. These things saved alot of time. I got them for this purpose, but I've found more uses for them since. Good product! November 17, 2008

Well worth the money I have this set and have used them many times. they have saved me alot of time from torqueing fuel lines to removeing brass fittings in hard to reach areas. January 28, 2008

CROWS FEET FLARENUT WRENCH SET For the price, this flarenut crows feet wrench set is excellent! I was able to remove my brake line flarenuts with ease. You are able to get in tight spaces without the fear of rounding off a nut, due to its four point contact surface. You might not use this set alot; however, when you do need it, its worth 10X the price. January 21, 2008

8-Pc. Crows Feet Wrench Set — SAE These wrenches are really great for getting into tight places. They are much better than the standard Crows Feet Wrenches. These wrenches work on the same principle as the fuel line wrenches and provide a much better grip on bolts and nuts. I strongly recommend these types of wrenches where you have a tight place and need extra gripping power. October 9, 2007
