"Went on 2nd deployment to the Middle East. I operate a transportable sattelite system mounted on what a civilian would first think is a boat trailer. Speed is everything when it comes to dropping this equipment and setting up the system. This multimillion dollar piece of equipment has extension pads on both sides that must be quickly erected to stabilize the dish. The tool that we are given just doesn't work well. I can also appreciate the torque the 16 1/2in handle provides. I just don't understand why all our "STT's" don't use this equipment. Oh yes, it does rain in the desert, and no my NT Jumbo Rachet didn't rust. I highly recommend this product."

The 3/4 ratchet I purchased is well built and I expect to get many years of good service from it. It has a good feel and also a good balance. "I like many other people had bought a cheap three quarter inch ratchet and of course it broke during nornal use. i needed a new one,and i got a notice in my email from northern for one on sale. i orderd it...and it was at my place very quickly. i needed it the very next day to remove some swing arm bolts from a softail frame. they are tough to get out to say the least. so the tool was slightly abused to do the job. not a problem with this ratchet. it was perfect timing ...the job was done and is ready for the next set of problem bolts that will need to be removed. the right tool for the right job 2Guns"

"Excellent quality. Withstands heavy use. I've used this tool to remove 1" dia. bolts from a skid steer that had been frozen for years. Tough and capable. Very good product for the buck."
