Hudson Propane Insect Fogger
Works as designed
This fogger is a great proactive approach to controlling flies. I bought it 2 months ago and use it daily on a horse ranch. The insecticide doesn't knock flies out of mid air, but they do die in 5 or 10 minutes after flying through the fog. The fogging machine needs to be emptied after each use else it will clog and not work. I simply remove the fog container from the fogger and pump the residual insecticide out of the unit. Not a single issue after more than 60 days of continuous use.

Great Fogger, but read before buying
I bought an Insect Fogger a few months ago. I read the online reviews before I bought it and I read the printed manual that came with the unit. So I thought I was doing everything right. The darned thing worked great but then clogged after about 10 uses. I called the company and they told me it was my fault because I didn't empty the insecticide after every single use. The printed manual only instructs you to empty the insecticide if you are going to store the unit. The company explained that storing includes overnight. They didn't want to replace the part. But after a short discussion they finally did, under warranty. it was the pump assembly that clogs.
The moral of the story: A great fogger, and it does put out a lot of smoke, and it does clear out insects for a few hours. BUT, you MUST empty the insecticide after EVERY use, or the fogger WILL clog.

Hudson Propane Insect Fogger
I was disappointed in this product.
Mainly because you have to pull the trigger each time to get a puff of smoke out.
Instead of a continuous flow. Would be ok to squirt a small bush but to do some serious fogging it will wear your trigger finger out.

I have in the last 3 years bought 4 foggers. I use them in the barrel room of our winery to keep the frut flys down during harvest. It works great for that!
I use the fogger for 2 minutes every third day. After 1 month of use the spring in the pump will not retract. Another words the triger is stuck in the squeezed position and will not spring out. To me this product is defective.

after it heats up for a few minutes, it gives lots of fog. Keeps the mosquitoes and flies away for a few hours at least. No residue. Quality/ruggedness of the fogger is good- consistent with price. Just stand upwind from the fogger when using!

This item is completely portable and can be used without needing to hook it up to a power source. Perfect for fogging yard areas and under decks. Uses a repellant that leaves no post-spraying residue that is harmful to humans or animals. Outlasts aerosol products many times over at a fraction of the cost.

I would buy it again
We used the mosquito fogger at a summer place near the Mississippi River. I HATE mosquitos, and they always seem attracted to me when they aren't bothering anyone else. I would recommend this product because of its ease of use, and being economical. It may not provide the best protection if the wind blows away the fog, but allows the bugs to fly around you. I guess nothing's perfect but I believe this is one the best choices for outdoor activities without the bugs.
