Mist Kit works when dry humidity and hot weather,

"I have the mist kit on one of my pedestal fans, outside under a patio roof, and blowing onto two rows of freezer and cooler condenser coils, to cool them down, and it does a pretty good job. However, if the air has high humidity, the mist is useless. When the air is dry, and you can get the mist to evaporate in the hot, dry air, it is surprising how well the mister works."
