"The first unit shipped out to me had terminal screws on the connector stripped.
Anyhow, enclosure should be re-designed to add more depth and less height. There is not enough depth to provide proper bending radius even with 8 AWG. wire.
If you're not getting an inspection, and you have enough muscle, this is O.K..
I would look online for another brand before I bought another one of these."

"The raintight power inlet box makes it so much easier to connect your backup generator. If you don't have a dedicated standby generator, you have got to have a convenient way to connect, and this is it!! When your power goes off, you don't have time to fumble around and make connections. This is as simple as plugging in an outlet."

"Installed this using 8 gage wire and did not have the difficulties the 6 gage caused one individual. Looks good, works good, makes connecting a portable generator up during a power outage a breeze! This is the only place I saw this box, I had been going in and wiring up a line everytime we had an extended power outage, this is the perfect solution!"

"Low quality. There very little room inside the box.If you're using #6 Ga. THHN wire good luck getting the cover on.I had to add extra sheet metal screws just to keep it closed"
