This economical single-load transfer panel provides safe single-load transfer from generator to an office, garage or farm building where the entire circuitry is to be powered by a generator during a power outage. Compact, all-steel design completely isolates the generator from the utility with manual switching action. Can be used as an economical alternative to a DPDT switch. Maximum generator input is 15,000 Watts. Indoor surface-mount design. Can also be used for tractor-driven farm PTOs. UL listed. 5-year limited warranty. U.S.A. Factory shipped.

"I recently purchased a Reliance Generator Transfer Switch for use with my wind generator. I have a battery bank, consisting of, 10 marine batteries, controlled by a charge controller. The battery bank sends the voltage to my inverter, then goes to an additional breaker box, with 8 breakers. I have taken 8 breakers out of my main breaker box to be used with my wind generator. The Reliance Transfer Switch is wired between the main breaker box and the additional breaker box. This makes it possible to run those 8 breakers off of wind generated power or switch it back to my power company. I am presently working on building a commutator that will enable me to also run 220 volts as well. The Reliance Generator Transfer Switch has the capability of doing so. I am very pleased with the results I have achieved with this product."

"I purchased a large portable generator to power the house and barns on our small farm. One trasfer switch came with the generator but in order to also power the barns a second transfer switch was needed. I purchased this one from Northern and am glad that I did. It was competitively priced and is of high quality. It was easy to hook up and use."

"I use this switch in a remote area of northern Arizona near the Grand Canyon where it gets very windy and thunderstorms. The enclosure has worked very well at protecting the switch from dust and rain. The enclosure is large enough to easily do the wiring and hook-ups, yet compact enough to fit into a small space. I really like the safety and convience of this switch. I used it between a Photovoltaic system and a back-up generator. I like the fact that it is made from main line componets, not off brand stuff. I look forward to many years of service from it. I haven't found any negative aspects about it, I hope I don't. Check with me in 2 yrs., I'll know better then. Also the customer service and delivery were very prompt. Thanks, AZ Sparky"
