ShelterLogic 12Ft.W Peak Style Garage-in-a-Boxâ„¢ -
This garage, for the money you can't do any better any where else. Go's up in no time without any hassles what so ever. It's so easy to put up only takes around 2 hours as long as you have 1 extra person. People around me are getting about $1200.00 dollars for this same garage (With installation). $1000.00 +$200.00 for installation. Save your self a lot of money if you buy from Northern Tool + Equipment. I have bought 3 of these garage's over the years and all three are still standing. The very 1st one I bought I will have to replace the the cover in another year or so,( 8 years old) but I live in the northeast with a lot of snow and believe me when I tell you it does handle the weather very well. CAN'T BE BEAT... MARK. P.S. I would'nt park my car any where else.

Good shelter for the price.
The contents of the box appear daunting, but the instructions are clear enough to allow successful completion. The construction area should be level. Have a drill ready to correct some of the errors made at the factory. Though few, the misaligned holes were frustrating. Use a long punch to help align the holes for bolt insertion. The instructions say two hours for construction, but I would allow three. Other than the misaligned holes, the shelter went up without a hitch. While it can be erected with one person, use two! It is faster and safer. Overall, a decent product for the price. And remember, it is designed as a TEMPORARY structure.

Weak plastic welds
I bought this item because of the great reviews. It arrived from Northern Tool quickly. I don't know if I got a lemon, but a pole was missing, so I had to call Shelter Logic's customer service for that-it was in stock and arrived the next day. Then we got to putting up the front, the plastic welds pulled apart by simply getting it in place to install. Again I had to call customer service and spent another hour and a half on hold. This item wasn't in stock or expected to ship out to me for over a month. It did arrive, and we got it up, but welds are coming apart again. Overall very disappointed.

Useful and sturdy
My husband and I bought one for each of our sons with the thought that they can take it when they move on to their own places, and they are loving having clean and dry cars to drive.
I agree with Windman as I was also skeptical about it holding up to our western Pennsylvania weather but we have had no problem with either snow or wind or summer sun. Just clear off any excessive snow build-up and you'll be fine with this garage. They take a little patience to put up but the two of us had no troubles. Just allow several hours if you've never done this before.
Although it's not intended for this purpose, we even used it as a makeshift paint booth to spray primer onto one of the small cars and it worked like a dream!
This will last a good many years with a little wintertime maintenance. Don't hesitate!

Inexpensive shelter
I have really enjoyed this product. It gives a lot of extra storage space for building materials, lawn and snow care machinery, etc. A very economical solution for extra storage space.

Need a Garage
Shipping was very fast on this item. Came in one box better, to separate each piece first and you will need at lease two people. The back and front was the hardest to assemble and install. Directions where very well thought out. Took one full day to put up. The garage comes with only 4 anchors you will need more. So far it has with stand high winds with no problems.

great shelter
It is a great shelter but if you live in snow country you have to be home all the time to brush the snow off and also have support post under every roof bow We had a heavy snow storm during the night about a week after My brother and I put it up , that morning it was a disaster all the roof peices were broken there was a 16 in tear in the roof fabric so fter the roads were clear I went to Lowe's and bought 1 1/2" pvc pipe the pieces back together with the pvc and lots fo screws yes I would recomend the shelter and als recomend to any one to keep it clear of snow no mater what time of day or night thats if tyou live in heavy snow areas and want to keep it for a long time If planning on taking a winter vacation find some one you can trust to keep it clear of snow

Shelterlogic garage
I was a little skeptical about the sturdiness of this product during our Western PA winter months, but the last two months of constant snowfall has proven no problem for this garage. Besides the snow, our garage is subject to substantial winds, which again, have caused us no problem. I'm afraid a comparable sized garage of less quality would not withstand our areas weather very long. I only wish I'd purchased a larger size. It's amazing how much you can actually fit in a 12' x 20'! We have a full size VW, snowmobile trailer, gas grill, rototiller, extra tires, extension ladders and motorcycle, not to mention a good place to keep our extra hay & straw. A great value & excellent product.
