beastly drill
I bought this about three years ago, and even though I havnt used it a ton, when I have used it, it was unstoppable. This drill is second only to my 70 year old industrial T-handle drill.

Best drill I have ever owned
I've had my drill for about 15 years now. I have drilled through wood, steel, concrete, tile, and just about anything else you can think of. It has never let me down. The torque is almost unbelievable.
The only complaint I have is that the black rubber on the handle has finally come loose. But after the abuse I put it through, I'm surprised that my hands haven't come loose.

Shop Use
I purchased this for use in our Ag. shop and the mechanics love it. It has enough power for our use without being too big and heavy. The removable side handle is nice for stablizing the drill for tough surfaces and it is compact enough when removed to reach into tight spaces.

Powerful performance
I purchased this model because I previously have not owned a 1/2 inch drill and occasionally have a need for a more powerful drill. I own a large pop-up tent camper with a large air conditioner on the top. It is a huge chore to crank the thing up by hand. The 8 amp Milwaukee does the trick. I purchased a socket drive designed to fit the lift mechanism on the back of my camper. I just install the socket drive into the chuck and crank away. The quick connect 2nd handle is great for steadying the tool during heavy torque jobs. I keep a 15' coil extension cord in the bag with the drill. The first thing I do after backing into my camp site is to plug in the extension cord with drill and crank up the camper top. I plan to utilize this drill for many years to come.

heavy duty
this is so powerful it feels like it could break your arm if used in a tight place like between joists where you should probably use a right angle drill. great product. feels like it will last the rest of my lifetime.

Needed the power
Purchased for mixing grout, quick set and durabond with a whip.
I especially like the compact size, easy - to - grip handle and high torque for mixing heavy mortars and grouts.

How do you spell professional grade tools MILWAUKEE period.
The choice of the serious professional. You pay a little more but you get your moneys worth. This drill put my Craftsman 1/2" in the shade. It's 1/3 the size and half the weight also. I've abused it and it comes back for more. It's never disappointed me.
If you want to buy one more drill in your life...this is it.

power house
I burned up a smaller drill while mixing mortar for tiling. I then purchased this drill and it handles everything I throw at it. Granted it is not high speed, I am very pleased with the power this drill has and I don't have to worry about burning this drill up.

Best Drill I've Owned
I've owned 4 other electric drills in the past few years. Since I've been remodeling my Grandma's basement, the last drill I has almost burnt out. Then we went out to get this one. Powerful, Great control over speed, and Super Smooth operation makes this a drill that I think I'll have for a while. I bought the 1/2" version since its the most heavy duty they offer. This drill should last me a lifetime.
