would 140 - 150 degree's F be too hot for this fan to operate?

Details:

I am considering using this fan (# 10282) as an attic exhaust fan. the house i current live in has no method of creating circulation in the attic and during the hottest times of the day the attic will reach temps of 150 degree's Fahrenheit.

I have ran tests with said fan, and i have been able to help cool the attic down to 120-125 degree's but my concern is the amount of stress i am putting on the fans motor.

Being the fan is not designed to be used in this application, the thermal cutoff would shut down the motor due to the temperature.

Bought this fan for my garage Although loud when running, this fan moves a lot of air in my garage. It will certainly keep me cooler this coming summer. I think I may go buy another one to put at other end of the garage so I have air from both directions! I rent construction equipment for a living and can tell this fan is sturdy and built well. Not a bad price for what you get! I would recommend to anyone looking to cool things off this summer. April 23, 2013

It Blows Air! The fan blows lots of air in the low or high mode. It is very loud when running . It is easy to move around. If you have a Large shop bigger than 900 sq ft i would recomend a bigger fan thats not so loud. August 14, 2012

Good Enough to buy 2 Gets hot in my woodworking shop during the Texas summer so I purchased this fan to move the air and make it easier to work. I also needed a fan to move the air with staining and finishing vapors in the air. It worked so well, I decided to purchase another fan. Yes, I agree with some of the other reviews - the fans are loud, but so is my woodworking equiptment. But I can work far more comfortably now with two of those fans than I was without any fans and more safely, too. The "air" is not "cool", because it is a fan not an A/C, but it works like a charm in the shop. May 7, 2012

cooler fan really cools We use this fan out on the patio along with a ceiling fan .. .. Even with the 95 degree temps we have been having, the fan creats a breeze and it is very comfortable. The only thing I have found I don't like is...it only has two speeds...would prefer three. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a fan! June 16, 2011

One heck of a fan When I was little (56 now) my dad had a fan in a store. That thing was fantastic and really moved air, but it sounded like a freight train. This one isn't like that. It's made with modern materials and you don't need a handtruck to move it, but it does move a LOT of air. It's not too loud on low, and if you really want you can make it roar on high. I can't think of a better fan for a garage, or to quickly change the air in a building. November 18, 2010

Great Fan of this Fan We purchased this fan to use in the house while our AC and ducting was being replaced. Moves a lot of air and made a miserable situation much more bearable. At 30 degrees latitude in the dog days of summer it really helped a lot. Other than being a little loud, which has to be expected with this kind of power and air volume, no complaints.
