This Makita belt sander features a quiet 8.8 AMP motor that runs at just 85dB and an auto-tracking belt system that tracks without adjustment. The unique design of this sander allows flush sanding to the corner of the wall with nose and side of sander. The front grip design delivers comfortable operation. A dust bag keeps the work environment clean. An optional sanding shoe is available for precise sanding depth control. This double-insulated unit sands wood or metal and removes paint and rust. 16.4-ft. power cord allows easy maneuverability. 3in. x 12in. belt; 690 – 1,440 ft./min. belt speed. Overall length: 11 5/8in.
