Good pump, less plastic would be better,

"Good pump -- much better than the one that died in my parts washer. I would like to see metal fittings instead of plastic, however. The plastic plumbing is a weak spot that will eventually fail under attack from cleaning solvents, grease, etc."

"I BOUGHT THIS PUMP ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH IT. i DO WISH IT PUMPED A LITTLE MORE VOLUME BUT IT DOES THE JOB WELL IN MY HOME SHOP WITH SOLVENT BASED FLUID. FOR THE PRICE, IT CAN'T BE BEAT."

"I bought this pump about 6 months ago. Mine came with a spout. This product worked great right out of the box. I have it sitting in 5 gallons of water based parts washing solvent and it is doing just fine. I use this pump every weekend and it has been great. It has plenty of pressure and provides a nice suprisingly powerful flow for my parts washer. I highly recommend getting this pump if you are thinking about getting one. I have been working on engines for 10 years and this works perfectly to my liking."

"I bought a parts washer and made the mistake of using mineral spirits as the cleaning fluid. After about one year, the plastic pump body deteriorated due to exposure to the solvent and the pump stopped working. This unit is an exact replacement which works fine with the water soluble cleaning solution I now know to use. It was significantly less expensive than other units available, most of which would have cost more than the entire parts washer I had and did not come with the chrome goose-neck hose that accompanied this unit. I am very pleased with this pump."

"Well I read the earlier reviews and decided for the money it was worth a look. And I was not dissapointed. The part arrived quickly and was a perfect match to replace the OEM. The pump works as advertised and I will purchase a nother one in the future. I know it will most likely melt the plastic housing after sitting in the parts fluid, but for the price I look at it as a throw away part.
I recommend it to anyone who needs a cheaper alternative to buying a professional parts washer and pump assmbly."

"This pump is very cheap my first one burnt out in about 4 months, But you cant beat the price the next cheapest is $80.00. I will just buy a second one."
