Work Saving Device Spares Your Spine
I set this up in less than 15 minutes and used it to move dirt and manure for two days without a hiccup or inconvenience. I tried it with and without a hard plastic bed liner and found I could carry and discharge larger loads with the help of the bed liner underneath the mat. On your first load, only load about half of what you think can fit in there, just to test your own cranking ability. The bed does not need to be totally clean between each load, but one does need to sweep the part of the bed where the mat will be sliding. HINT: When stretching the mat out into the bed of the pick up for the first time, fold the first foot or two of leading edge under. Pull the fold all the way to the back of the cab of the truck and you will have no trouble with the ends standing up when you begin cranking. jh

Waste of time and money
I tried to get the mat to lay flat by weighing down all four corners for a week. When I put in my truck and went to pick up a load of mulch, it rolled itself back up completely. I managed, with great difficulty, to hold it down to let them dump the mulch in my truck. When I tried to unload the mulch, the mat came out with it.

Good performance
I got this to augment a LoadHandler for my '98 Tacoma. The mat is nice and slick - great for sweeping out the last bits of bark, dirt, gravel, etc... The black plastic remodels itself in the hot sun, however, and the front end of the mat (nearest the cab) tends to fold forward.
I don't leave the mat in all the time, otherwise the scratched up bed of my truck would rust out. Just like plastic bed liners, the mat doesn't allow moisture to escape.

This is the perfect addition to the load handler. It lets the handler glide out of the bed of the truck. The different sides are great. I use the smooth side for the handler and the grooved side if it is raining and I want the water to have a place to go rather than let my stuff sit in water. I have only one con for the mat and its just a pet peeve. It takes some time till the mat lays completely flat. The ends are curled a bit when there is nothing on them.

Load Handler Double Bed Mat
I purchased the mat exclusively for use with the 3000lb. Commercial Load Handler and it is a must for the heavier weight. It seems to be very durable as I have used it for hauling firewood and have yet to tear it with over 50 rick of firewood hauled.
