"This grinder is perfect for sharpening mower blades. There are two grinding stones included. The motor is powerful, and I've spent a lot of time grinding without the motor getting hot. There are plenty of safety features about the grinder. It's light enough to be portable, so I can carry it to my jobs. There are four rubber feet on the bottom, and though the literature with it recommends that the grinder be fastened securely to a work bench, I've found that it isn't necessary. I think this is a great product for the home work shop, but the pro will probably want to consider buying another model."

"I picked up this bench grinder a couple of weeks ago and even though it isn't a "name brand" it still gets the job done very well. The motor has plenty of power for pretty much any job the unit is solidly constructed. I didn't give it five stars because the tool rests and guards are kind of small and flimsy but you won't find a better grinder for the price. Overall, I highly recommend this unit for anyone on a budget, it's a great buy."

"As the title says, it works well and seems to be well built. I compared this one and some of the other 6 in grinders, this one has the highest amp. But this high amp might be the cause of the little problem I have. The first application I used on this machine was sharppening knifes with paper discs. I purchased 6 in discs and found out the motor housing was too tall compared to the discs which is in the way when I glided the knifes over the discs horizontally. If I knew this, I would have purchased the 8 in discs instead since I don't use the shields or the covers. These paper discs aren't cheap. Maybe this motor should be rated as 8 in grinder with 8 in grinding wheels instead."

"I decided to purchase this grinder even though I had a motor and grinder stand and only needed a V belt, because it takes up so little space and I didn't have to do any wiring either. Very easy to attach to my workbench. It is very quiet when running. I did change one grinding wheel to a wire brush and it was very easy to change. No problems with this grinder for me. It met and passed all expectations."
