Description says it only includes pump but picture shows hose and strainer. Are they included? If not do you sell a strainer that fits a standard garden hose

Answers

The 12 Volt Simer Utility Pump would only have a suction lift of 7 feet(2.1 meters) maximum. Northern Tool does not sell any 12 volt utility water pumps that would have a suction lift of 8 meters.

The Simer 12 Volt Utility Pump comes with the battery cables and clamps. If you would like to order replacement parts, it can be done directly from the manufacturer(Simer, a division of Pentair Pump).

will it self prime at the max lift of 7ft?

Details:

I'm trying to fill a spray tank in my truck bed from a pond. The height from the truck bed to the water will be about 5ft. I'd like to be able to back up to the pond toss in the strainer end and start filling. Will this pump work for that?

It works but with caveats Pump works fine but I don't know where it gets a 600 gpm rating. Nothing on the box rates it near this. Clearly says "450 gph" written on the box. Also says "made in USA" on webpage. Pump has "made in China" stamped on it! July 23, 2012

Tough little pump I farm, and have used this pump for two years to pump Roundup from a bulk tank into my sprayer. It has pumped well over 1000 gallons with no problems. Another big plus is, it comes with a rebuild kit, though I haven't needed it yet. This thing has been used and abused and still keeps going. December 14, 2011

Junk I had ordered this product to pump water from a pond to water plants. I used the pump three times before the inside of the pump melted. The picture shows a metel pump housing and what i recieved was plastic. August 6, 2010

pump-up Nice device. I found it would deliver the task it was made for. I used it for getting water out of the creek and it did an excellent job. Watered the garden after retrieving the water and it had good pressure to do the task. I would recomend it highly. October 19, 2009

Handy Pump This pump has been a great little tool: with very little cost, yet very good life. We have been using this product for a number of years in our shops; and it keeps going and going. We use it to remove and refill coolant systems. This saves us many man hours; which inables us to reduce our costs, and pass on additional savings to our customers. Its a win win. November 18, 2008
