Extra loud fhone ringer
This would be a good outdoor phone bell for a small patio or a tiny backyard as it would probably not disturb your neighbors. If you're more than 20 feet away from it you probably would not hear it. It is better than nothing but not much.

expected it to be louder
I ordered the telephone ringer, I was rather disappointed because I really thought it would have a louder ring. I can barely hear it over the air compressor or anything that running.

Extra-Loud Ringer is not Loud
The Extra Loud Ringer was quieter than the phone we had without a ringer. I'm not sure why it's called "Extra Loud" as it is soft to moderate and no where near loud.

Works Great
This ringer is what you need to hear the phone ring in the garage. No more dinky electronic ringers, an authentic bell is what you need.

most applications
i purchased this ringer a little while ago we installed it in my body shop. It does have a good load ring and would be great for most business applications. But our work areas are Very load and just was not load enough for us.

Loud but Not Extra!
The ringer has been very reliable even in cold weather but it is not as loud as I thought it would be. I have it in my work shop and if I am running noisy power tools with hearing protection I don't hear it. It is much more noticable than your ordianary phone ringer and doesn't make you jump out of your skin, (which is a good thing most of the time). It actually has a pleasant sounding ring. I can be outside, nearby and hear it. I have the adjustment all the way up. I just wish I could make it to loud. As far as I know I haven't missed a call since I installed it. Requires no other voltage than the phone line. The price is right! Give it a try.

Outside Phone Ringer
We put the phone ringers on our construction site job trailers because there are several areas that do not receive cell phone service. The extra loud ringers are great because one of our employees can usually hear it ring amidst the bustle on the job site.
