Solid, useful, purpose-built
I installed six of these in the utility trailer that I use with my Jeep Wrangler--three down each side, bolted through the plywood bottom and steel frame. Well-cast ring; well-executed stamped steel well. Has a drain hole to allow water to drain out from rain (as if we have that in Phoenix!).

D Ring Tie Downs
These work great to secure equipment to my trailer. I anchored them to the wooden floor and I have no problems with equipment shifting.

Tie Down
I am well pleased with these tie downs. Heavy steel plate and ring. I installed them in the bed of my flat bed truck with 3/8 bolts.

Flush mount ring tie down package
The package of 4 tiedowns was a GOOD DEAL. These were used on my new trailer to hold down my newly restored Austin Healey sports car. They were heavy duty in every respect.
I had to cut a depression in the trailer deck wood (about 1" deep by 2 1/2" square) to accept each unit. I used a wood chisel but a router would be faster. Bolted down with 3/8" grade 5 bolts.

Tie-downs rings
These tie-down rings in the four pack were a good buy for the money. I installed 12 of these in a new enclosed trailer that I purchased to haul my motorcycle & my lawn pulling tractors in. The quality was good, the ease of installation was ok. These rings are recessed into the floor and that makes for ease of loading or unloading other items with-out hanging on the tie-downs. I would buy these tie-downs again if needed.

Great tie downs
These tie downs work really well. They do take a little effort to set into a wood deck. I used a roto-zip to rout out a cavity to recess them. They do not come with installation hardware, but as long as you know this you will be OK. They are real easy to use once mounted and hold my quads securely.

A "must have" for trailers
In the past, I have used about any method one could conceive to secure my loads - eye-bolts, screws, etc. They were all time consuming and only worked once for that particular load - they always had to be removed to keep from damaging the next item I loaded. These recessed pulls are great; they are easy to install and don't interfere with materials being slid across the trailer bed. They are there when you need them, and out of the way when you don't. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who owns a trailer or flat bed truck. My suggestion would be to buy two packs - it gives you a lot more options for tie-down locations, and at the price they're well worth it.
