channel lock pliers et.al
thei brand channel lock is better than the others in that the halvs stay in the grooves.the result is they stay adjusted at the selected opening you want. the cheaper brands slip out of their grooves and pinch you . and dont grip tjhe part. well worth the extra money for purchase!!!

Very Strong!!!
The design of these griplock pliers are hands down the most versatile pliers I have ever used. They get into tight places. They grab round object very good. I use them for Automotive work, but have many other uses aroung the house. A must have! Also made in USA! so the quality/ durabilty is good!

Sub-standard
It's not that these aren't perfectly useful pliers, it's just that they in no way resemble the quality and design of all other Channellock brand tools. The finish is rough and they are rattly, and overall resemble bargain bin imports. Most notably the normal channel-grooves have been replaced with little bumps on these, not visible in the picture since the jaws are facing right. Along with these I bought Channellock V-Jaw pliers which are far better and top quality, check them out. On the positive side these are fine for the money. They just aren't what you expect from the brand name.

Groovy Pliers
Channel-Lock make a quality product and these pliers are no exception. Keep them relatively clean & lubricated and they should last a long time. They cover a wide range of grip-requirements with good feel and bite.

Grip lock Pliers
Pliers are very nice. They work well and the jaws are seem very hard. Additionally they are made in the USA.

channellocks
I had been buying cheap pliers and i finally got sick of pinching my hands. For under 30 bucks I bought 3 name brand pliers without having to think twice about bruising my hands.
