Apache Water Pump PVC Discharge Hose - 2in. x 50ft.
I bought 425' of this hose to pump from a creek running through my property to my pond. I ran the hose up hills, around bends and through woods and ditches. The hose held up well and worked fine. I'm sure it got stepped on by a lot of deer but i never saw any leaks. I tried to find a better price but northern tool couldn't be beat. The only thing I have a problem with is that online it says made in USA, but the hose says made in China all over it. Maybe it is assembled in USA. Either way, it is a good hose. I pumped at least 1,000,000 gallons. Don't forget to use anti-seize on your threads for easy disassembly.

Fragile. Prone to leaks
After a year of infrequent use, I am throwing it away. It gets leaks very easily.

Gets The Job Done
I purchased two 50' sections to use for my submersible pump. The hose works perfect and rolls up nice and compact after the job is done. The only negative is the hose is not extremely durable and you must take care not to puncture it.

Acceptable performance and a bargain price
I water a several acre yard from a pond with a high pressure 2" pump (Northern Tool) using several of these PVC discharge hoses to reach the furthest point from the pond. I have had good luck with these hoses up to pressures in the 40-50psi range without issue for two seasons.
The hoses are not perfect, however. I have noticed three issues that keep me from a 5 star rating:
1) The aluminum 2" male fitting is somewhat more prone to cross threading than the female brass fitting, which is very well made. This has not been a major issue, but complicates the assembly of several hoses in series.
2) The crimp banded compression fitting holding the PVC coated hose to the fittings varies in its quality and effectiveness. I have one hose that maintains a slow drip from this fitting regardless of pressure, and another hose that does not leak at all. This is primarily an issue at the male fittings.
3) The abrasion resistance of these hoses is modest. I have need to periodically drag the unloaded hoses across a paved driveway during my watering effort. I have noticed in one hose a small pinhole leak that has been generated as a result of this periodic abrasion. I am impressed that this pinhole leak has not been degraded over time at high pressures, which is a testament to the quality of the hose,

Excellent product..I purchased 5, 50ft sections to move irrigation water and they were exactly what I needed! Their flexibility allows them to be easily moved when full, and easily drained and rolled up to store. Am planning on purchasing more for my other pumps!

Seems like good quality and it was as cheap or cheaper than I could find it anywhere else even for some other lesser quality ones

Item is everything the discription states. Easy to detach from other hoses and pump. Also easy to roll-up.

works but really kinky
I didnt have any leaks at the fittings but this hose kinks extremely easily if not layed out in a nearly straight line

Good product, however, make sure you need industrial thread on your connections otherwise you'll have suction problems and another trip to the hardware store.

I use this to transfer water via pump to underground storage tank, so it's not under alot of pressure, yet at one end the hose leaks where the hose is clamp at the fitting. I image I could cut the clamp off and use a hose clamp.
