No.99 NT+E Ford F-150 to Sport In-truck Cameras for Texas Race

Fans of the No.99 truck will get the opportunity Friday night to see what it’s like to ride along with Erik Darnell when the green flag drops at the Sam’s Town 400 in Texas. Thanks to our partners at Ford, the Northern Tool + Equipment F-150 will have three in-truck cameras on board for the race.

They will give fans three different perspectives of the happenings going on around the track during the 167-lap race. A camera will be located on the roof, the left rear down bar and inside the truck. The two outside cameras will each pan 180 degrees to be able to catch all the racing action, while the inside camera will be in a stationary spot focused solely on Darnell.

“The in-truck cameras have been a real hit with fans. It’s the next closest thing to actually sitting in the driver’s seat. We’ve had these cameras in the past and I can honestly say I didn’t even notice them being on the truck. They are so small and in places that don’t obstruct my driving. The cameras have been great for the sport,” said Darnell

The Northern Tool + Equipment Ford F-150 will also have in-truck cameras for the Built Ford Tough 225 on July 19 at Kentucky Speedway.
