Darnell On Dover

Erik Darnell on racing at Dover International Speedway:
“Dover is one of the more difficult tracks we go to this season. With its high banking and fast concrete surface, racing at the Monster Mile can be a challenge. We’ve struggled here the last couple of years and I hope our luck changes this week. This Northern Tool + Equipment team is hungry for its first win of 2008 and to do it Dover would be awesome.”

Crew chief Matt Puccia on racing at Dover International Speedway:
“It’s always a survival race when coming to Dover. The track is fast, but it fits Erik’s style of racing. We had a very good truck here last year, but wrecked early on and never recovered. Erik will be driving one of his favorite trucks on Friday. We took the same Ford F-150 to Kansas back in April with high hopes of a victory, but another early wreck took us out of contention. We’ve had some early season misfortunes, but this Northern Tool + Equipment team has begun to turn things around the last couple of races.”
