Erik Darnell On Kansas Speedway
Erik Darnell on racing at Kansas Speedway:
“I’m really looking forward to getting back to the place where I picked up my first Craftsman Truck Series victory. As defending champion, there are going to be a lot of eyes watching to see if the Northern Tool + Equipment team can make it two in a row. Coming off a top-five finish in Martinsville, I hope to keep the momentum going towards another strong performance.”
Crew Chief Matt Puccia on racing at Kansas Speedway:
“If we want a shot at winning this weekend, we need to qualify near the top. Because of its large size, having great track position throughout the race will play an important factor in our efforts to pick up another victory at Kansas. We’re heading into the race weekend with the same truck we used at Atlanta. It tested very well before the March race and we consider it our top truck. Erik has been very pleased with the way it has handled this season.”
